2nd Grade Teacher Ms. Lana Harrison   I love teaching at Springwoods! This is my sixth year teaching second grade at Springwoods. I especially love teaching second grade because one of our content areas is China and I have been to China twice. I can speak from experience about visiting The Great Wall, The Forbidden City, The Ming Tombs, etc., and the landscape of China in general. I have four children, Laura 29 and Robert 27, Elaina 8, and Carena 6. I received a Bachalor's Degree of Liberal Arts in History from George Mason University and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Mary Washington. Prior to teaching, I worked in the Federal Government for the Army and the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs, and in Arlington County for the Department of Human Services for 15 years as an Office Manager.
